As a woman in a male dominated industry, what has been the biggest challenge you have faced in your career, and how did you overcome it?

Men can’t stand women leading them. I displayed myself by my courage, my determination to succeed despite the affronts.

What inspired you to join this industry?

Curiosity to understand what is happening in the digital sector and ‘passion for men’s jobs.’

What changes, if any, have you seen in your field with regards to women in your field?

Women are as competent as men and are persistent.

How can we attract more women to consider a career in the STEM fields?

By sensitizing them and showing them the opportunities they can seize in STEM.

If you were to advise other young women starting their careers in the tech or within the STEM fields, what is the one thing you would say to them?

Simply tell them that there are many opportunities for them to pursue a career in STEM.

When not working, what do you do for fun?

I grow cassava and maize and transform cassava into edible flour and produce peanut cakes.
